Mr. Simon Tao is a veteran metal commodities consultant with over 20 years of experience in international trade, commodity management, and the metals and mining sectors. A graduate of Southeast University’s English Department, Simon began his career with China’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, where he developed a strong foundation in global trade and economic policy. Over the years, he has built a vast network across the metals industry, working closely with buyers, suppliers, shipping companies, and testing agencies in key regions such as South America, Africa, and Central Asia.

Simon combines deep industry expertise with strong financial acumen, having managed projects funded by the World Bank and supported international factoring and large-scale imports of metals, chemicals, and agricultural products.
